"NRK Music have picked up the European rights to another essential house record for the Summer. Osborne’s “Ruling” came out on influential US label Spectral Sound earlier this year, and has been racking up some fantastic support already.

An emotive piece of lush deep house, “Ruling” is an unashamed throwback to the early halcyon days of Chicago and New York house music. A perfect slice of deepness for the warmer months…now with great new remixes from Shur-I-Kan and King Britt.

Shur-i-Kan is becoming ever present on the NRK roster of late, he's one of our favourite Brit producer/remixers, and he stays faithfull to the original mix of ""Ruling"" here but drags it onto the dancefloor somewhat with some stronger beats and heavier bottom end. King Britt, meanwhile, opts for a heady, darker pounding drum remix, with spacious chords and freeform jazz flicked riffs.

Osborne's ""Original Mix"" is all fingersnapping, Nu Groove/Pal Joey-esque house music at its finest!"
